AlcoElec on "Can anyone solve this?"
Greetings Everyone:
First, allow me to describe this set up, and then to the current status.
I know,.. It's like having a racecar to go to the corner store with. But the capabilities were there.
Then, when all of a sudden, striped lines to the far left of the monitor screen, blank darkness and auto shut-down of the whole Pc. Pause, and there was an 'Uh-oh'. The attempt to restart, and nothing. I had another power supply on hand, so I changed over temporarily and the computer started - but no video and no sound.
First guess was to obtain another power supply and video card (for just in case) Upon their arrival, they didn't make a difference. But now, the little dancing lights that usually turn on from the Crucial Ballistix Ram DDR cards don't do a thing and into a few minutes of the pc running, it shuts itself off.
Any suggestions of what may have happened would be great. If the Motherboard, I can replace but then how to restore raid and configuration to bring all records back as before.. (Bios) No, I didn't use a back u, but it's all there between two striped hard drives.
Rumor: Unannounced DS and PSP Indiana Jones in development, more information
The supposed handhelds installment would be titled Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. As Kotaku’s sources would have it, it is already in development and is being worked on by Montreal-based developer A2M for LucasArts.
What’s it gonna be about? The staff of Moses. Hey, it did part the Red Sea, after all. Imagine what you could do with it in a congested city like New York. Parting the sea of heavy of traffic. Cool, huh?
Anyhow, we also hear that they were also developing versions of it for the PS2 and the Wii, although we have no idea whatever’s happened to it, or if anything did happen to it.

PS3’s PlayTV: you can record TV content while playing games
Makes sense, right? An extremely useful feature If you feel like playing video games instead of watching shows, but your favorite show happens to be on.
The Guardian’s Greg Howson explains in his review of the service:
There will be a message in the final build of the code that will ask you to reboot your PS3 to enable the background recording functionality. [...] Unfortunately you can’t record two programmes at once - you can record one channel and watch Live TV on another though - which feels a little restrictive.
Also of note in Howson’s review is that PSP transfer from the PlayStation 3 requires a conversion process of videos, which is “fiddly” enough to make most users feel that it’s not worth it. Although he does note that remote play worked well.
PlayTV will launch September 19 in the UK, with the rest of the Europe, and Australia and New Zealand to follow.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam announced for PSPs
Want some more hot Robot-on-Robot action? Well you’re in luck… if you’re in Japan that is. Namco Bandai has announced a new PSP iteration in the Gundam videogame series, and it’s a port of the arcade hit Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam.
As you can probably expect, a number of additions are being made to ensure the game’s freshness. Expect to see four-player multiplayer support through ad-hoc mode, exclusive new mecha and adjustments to the existing roster, a player profile exchange function, background music straight from the original shows, and a Media Install option akin to that found in Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G.
According to the official Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam site, the game is set to be formally announced on August 31 at C3XHobby 2008. In the meantime, you can check out these scans we found from VideogamerX.net (external link). Enjoy!

New Disgaea game coming to PSP, stars Prinny
This penguin here shot to stardom way before Cody Maverick of Surf’s Up and Mumble of Happy Feet were conceptually conceived. You all know Prinny from Disgaea, yes? And don’t we all love him.
Well Nippon Ichi apparently loves him, too. So much so, in fact, that they’re coming out with a new game starring him for the PlayStation Portable. That’s right, there’s another Disgaea title coming to your beloved Sony handhelds. This one’s to be entitled Prinny: Is it Okay if I’m the Main Character? and will be a 2D platformer.
Not much is known about this game yet, but we found the official website to be already up and running. Everything’s in Japanese, though, so while we’re excited about the game and all, we can’t help but wonder if we’re ever gonna get this in other territories.
Cross your fingers for this one. We’ll let you know as soon as more news and updates come along.
