Now, we know what you’re thinking. “Oh, Rockstar’s released a trailer featuring the female protagonists in Red Dead Redemption. We’re guessing there’s a scantily-clad burlesque dancer with a heart of gold, a scantily-clad cowgirl with a heart of gold and a fiery, scantily-clad revolutionista with a heart of gold.” Well, you’re awfully close — just replace all three instances of “scantily-clad” with “completely badass,” and you’re a bit closer to the truth.

God of War 3 trailer will boulder you over
Are all those Xbox 360 megatons getting a bit monotonous? Here, try something in PS3 flavor. Specifically, a brand new God of War 3 trailer from GameTrailers TV (after the break). In it, Kratos proves that, for him, carrying around a big boulder is no Sisyphean task. In fact, it becomes somewhat of an improbable method of propulsion. The game also puts a giant monster on an even bigger giant so Kratos can fight while he fights.
It’s a festival of excess, tied loosely into Greek myth. Total God of War stuff, essentially.

Nier approaches North America in April
Did you read the news of Japan’s Nier release date with abject jealousy, wishing you had such a clear idea when you‘d get to play Cavia’s cursing-at-a-book simulation? Seethe no more — Square Enix announced the North American release date, and it’s April 27, only five days after the game arrives in Japan!
Of course, real Nier fans are going to have to import Nier Replicant to get the full story, and that means learning Japanese is also a requirement. But it’s a small price to pay to learn more about some shirtless guy who fights giant sinewy oil-monsters to rescue his daughter.
