Valkyria Chronicles DLC lacks English voice track
Folks who are currently working their way through Valkyria Chronicles‘ recently released DLC pack, Challenge of the Edy Detachment, have noticed something strange about the content’s English-language voice overs: They don’t exist. The add-on pack only includes two audio settings: Japanese and silent. Of course, you can still follow the DLC’s plot through English subtitles, but hey — we came here to blow up tanks with other tanks, not to read.
Siliconera suggests that the absence of words we can understand could be attributed to the fact that this DLC is going live six months after the game was released in the U.S., so it’s possible the English voice cast couldn’t be brought back together for an encore recording. We’ve contacted Sega for an official explanation and to find out why the English-language omission in the DLC wasn’t announced before people, you know, bought it.

Dragon Age’s Return to Ostagar DLC finally coming to PSN in two weeks
We wouldn’t blame PS3 owners for losing interest in the Return to Ostagar DLC for Dragon Age: Origins — after all, once a game expansion is delayed, delayed again, put on the 360 marketplace, pulled from the 360 marketplace, and then only re-added to the 360 marketplace but not the PlayStation Store, a person’s hopes of ever seeing that DLC tend to vanish.
However, a BioWare community manager has confirmed that Ostagar will finally be added to the PlayStation Store on March 11 for $4.99. That should give you exactly one week to poopsock your way through the bite-sized addition before Dragon Age: Awakening gets released. Then again, those two might present more role-playing than your brain can handle. We suggest consulting your family physician before attempting such a marathon.

Lunar: Silver Star Story Harmony trailer turns back the clock
The game once called “not just the best Sega CD RPG ever, but one of the best on any Sega system” has eventually moved to almost all of the systems, as Lunar: The Silver Star has been remade and re-released on the Sega Saturn, the PlayStation, the PC, and even the GBA. And now here it comes again on the PSP as Lunar: Silver Star Harmony. This time around, the graphics have been given a complete makeover, and cutscenes have been added in, along with new voicework and music as well. Although going by the video above, XSEED might not have even bothered — the new anime style turns a console RPG relic into something that looks like Ranma ½.
But the gameplay is still there, and the story is a good one. Lunar: Silver Star Harmony should be out in stores on March 2nd, available both for $29.99 and as a limited edition for $39.99.
